Luqman Khan

Senior Technical Artist with 5+ years of experience in the games industry, ranging from Blueprints, Prototyping, Shaders, HLSL, VFX, and more recently Scripting/Pipelines. I have worked on a variety of games with indie to Triple A studios such as EA Dice, Obsidian, Lucid Games and range of Microsoft/Sony first party studios. Games I've worked on include Multiversus, Grounded, Destruction AllStars, Clockwork Revolution and some secret projects!

I also have virtual production experience, namely on the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary special. I have worked on all current gen consoles including VR devices and was mainly brought in to optimise assets or levels.

I worked in the metaverse space at Hadean and helped author a rendering method that could display thousands of characters on screen, developing pipelines and tools to help artists leverage this technology.

Right now I am developing Expanxia's art pipeline to ensure we have optimised assets for our WebGPU platform (among other things). Problem solving has always fun been for me so the role of Tech Art seems the most fitting as I'm always creating prototypes, pipelines and optimising games.

I'm at my best and most creative when I'm being challenged with an impossible task.
